Park Policies

DelGrosso’s Park:
DelGrosso’s Park is a family-friendly destination and, for the safety and comfort of all guests, requires appropriate clothing/coverage including shirts, shorts/pants, and footwear which must be worn at all times in the Ride Park and Concert areas. Swimwear including Bikini tops, bikini bottoms, halter tops, and sports bras are not considered appropriate clothing for Ride Side. Inappropriate clothing must be covered by a shirt and shorts/pants or non-sheer cover-up.

Clothing/Swimwear/Tattoos shall not indecently expose parts of the body, have profanity, gestures, suggestive, offensive or illegal material.

DelGrosso’s Park & Laguna Splash Management reserves the right to address any concerns, and offensive actions or language with guests.

Laguna Splash Water Park:

Infant Admission Policy: Children under 24 months of age with complimentary Infant Wristband are admitted to the Water Park and can only ride the Carouselle and Train when accompanied by an adult with proper admission.

Please Note: Children under 24 months of age must have a Fun Pass wristband or Individual Ride Tickets to board any Park Rides other than the Carouselle and Train, at the Parent/Guardian's discretion. The child must meet ride height requirements and must be able to maintain upward postural control at all times.

Guests may bring personal food, beverages, and coolers into the Picnic Grove area of the Ride Park during our normal operating season, but are restricted to available picnic areas at the back of the Ride Park in our Picnic Grove.

Personal food, beverages, and coolers are not permitted in the Midway Area of the Park or in the Concert Area.

Grills are allowed in our Picnic Grove Area, but we do not rent them. The Park is not responsible for items left behind. Outside Caterers or Food Deliveries are Prohibited on Park Grounds. Picnic food and coolers are not permitted during the Season Finale, Harvestfest Weekend.

Park food and beverages are permitted within the enclosed Water Park Area. The enclosed Water Park Area is defined as the area inside the Water Park’s two gated checkpoints.

Coolers (soft- or hard-sided) no larger than 10x10x12 are permitted within the enclosed Water Park Area.

Coolers may be used only for single-serve snack items, one non-glass beverage container no larger than 32oz (non-alcoholic) or for the purpose of non-glass storage of baby formula, baby food, medical, and dietary items. Food from outside establishments, other than single-serve snack items, are not permitted in the Water Park.

Picnic Tables are now conveniently located outside of the Water Park adjacent to the Parking Lot for those wishing to bring large coolers and/or picnic lunches. Please store the items in your car when not in use. Alcohol, grills, and open flames are not allowed in the Water Park Picnic Area. Smoking is permitted in designated Smoking Areas only. The Park is not responsible for items left behind. Outside Caterers or Food Deliveries are Prohibited on Park Grounds.

For safety reasons, all personal tents, umbrella, and shade structures are prohibited in the Water Park. Outside furniture, such as lawn chairs, are prohibited in the Water Park.

Each Cabana Rental includes VIP Wristbands and Seating for 6 Guests.

Each Cabana has a maximum of 6 guests (children and adults) plus up to an additional 2 hand-held infants (if needed). Hand-held infants must be under 24 months of age. Strollers/car seats and other child care items can not infringe on the neighboring cabanas.

For the comfort of all guests, designated Smoking/Vaping areas (includes E-Cigarettes and Vaporizers) have been established throughout the Park (on both Ride and Water Side).

Ride Park: The cast cannot restrict the rider from grasping the necessary safety restraints and bars. It also must not serve as a potential danger to other riders.

Water Park: Only waterproof (plastic) casts are permitted. They must also be wrapped with a protective cloth, so they do not scratch the slides and/or other structures.

Wearing sunglasses or prescription lenses will not be permitted while riding water attractions.

Prolonged underwater swimming or breath-holding will not be permitted.

Water-play face masks covering the nose, snorkels, and water toys (including diving toys, squirt guns, balls, Frisbees, etc.) will not be permitted in the Water Park.

Cell Phones or Lanyards are not permitted on any water attraction.

Pets and/or comfort animals are not permitted on park property. Only Service Animals, on a leash or harness, are permitted on park property. Service Animals are welcome on select attractions and to the water’s edge in the Water Park. Please see the Security / Rides Office for details.

"Service Animal" as defined by the U.S. Department of Justice

Under the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. Emotional Support, Therapy and Comfort animals are terms are used to describe animals that provide comfort just by being with a person. Because they have not been trained to perform a specific job or task, they do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.

When inclement weather occurs we will do our very best to keep our rides and attractions open. We ask guests to be aware of weather forecasts.

We do not issue rain checks just because it rains during your visit and you decide you want to leave the Park. Most rides and attractions continue to operate in light rain. In the event of heavy rain, high winds, or electrical storms, some or all rides and attractions may close until it is safe to resume normal operations.

If inclement weather forces DelGrosso’s Park & Laguna Splash to close for the day, Park Management may authorize the issuance of rain checks with proper wristbands and receipts.

Season Pass Holders are not eligible for a rain check; $10 Buddies are eligible for a rain check - with proof of proper wristband and receipt.

General Info and Regulations

Metal detection equipment may be used.

Cameras, hand-held or mounted, are not permitted on any attraction or ride.

Loud music, running, hoverboards, bicycles, Segways, roller blades, roller skates, skate shoes with heels, and skateboards are not permitted on DelGrosso’s Park Property.

Video recorders are not permitted at stage concerts. No pets are permitted on Park Property.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted beyond the Picnic Grove Area.

For safety reasons, all personal tents, umbrella, and shade structures are prohibited in the Water Park. Outside furniture, such as lawn chairs, are prohibited in the Water Park.

A Security Officer is always on duty in the booth at the bottom of the crosswalk Ride Side, during regular Park hours. Uniformed Officers patrol the Park grounds for your safety and assistance.

DelGrosso's Park does not use peanut oil in any of its food stands. We are happy to accommodate dietary and allergy needs. Our staff is trained on handling allergens and each concession manager is able to provide options that can fit into dietary restrictions.

We do ask, since you understand your sensitivity better than anyone else, that you make an educated decision on what you are comfortable with.

For the safety of all guests, All Rides and Water Attractions have height and/or weight restrictions and physical limitations that are posted at the ride entrance.

This signage details any precautions you should take, should you have a medical condition/history that could be affected by a ride. If you have any doubts... please bring them to your doctor's attention prior to your arrival, as it is better to be safe than sorry.

Pennsylvania Ride Safety Act #1994-58 requires riders to obey all warnings and directions, and must behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury to themselves or others. Failure to comply is cause for dismissal from the Park without refund.

DelGrosso’s Park & Laguna Splash is equipped with services to provide accessibility. Our Rider Safety and Accessibility Guide is available at the Security/Rides Office, Information Booth, and Guest Services. To enroll in the Rider Accessibility Program the guest must visit the Security/Rides Office.

Only Service Animals, on a leash or harness, are permitted on Park Property. Service Animals are welcome on select attractions and to the water’s edge in the Water Park - Please see Security/Rides Office for details.

Water Park Attractions Accessibility Notes:
Our lazy river and wave pool both have zero-depth “beach” style entries and are fully ADA accessible. All guests under 48” who enter the wave pool must wear a Lifejacket. We offer Lifejackets free of charge.

Our Waterworks activity pool has a wheelchair ramp and is also fully accessible.

We also have an aquatic wheelchair on-site that can be used for transfer purposes to and from the entry pools.

A limited number of electric scooters, adult strollers, and children’s double strollers are available for daily rental Ride Side at the Infant Care Center and also available Water Side at the Laguna Gift Shop. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis for a nominal fee.

Guests can enjoy FREE Parking in our Main Parking Lot, Water Side.

RV Parking is available at the back of the parking lot. Our Parking Attendants will assist you. No camping or overnight parking is permitted.

Limited Accessible Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis on Park Side and is also available in the Main Water Side Parking Lot (w/ accessible placard).

DelGrosso’s Park and Laguna Splash meet the required allotted spaces defined by the 2010 Americans with Disabilities Act Guidelines (ADAG).

There are 24 Rental Lockers Ride Side available for rental on a first-come, first-served basis beside the Information Booth.

These lockers cost $1.00 each time the Key is removed. For example, if you return to your locker and open it three times during your visit, your total cost would be $4.00 ($1.00 for the initial rental, and $1.00 for each time you open the locker after that).

Please note that the Ride Side Rental Lockers accept quarters only. The dimensions for our Ride Side Rental Lockers are as follows: 15” Wide x 15” Deep x 16.5” High.

There are 132 Rental Lockers Water Side, available for daily rental on a first-come, first-served basis, adjacent to Pasta Fresca.

Rental of Water Side Lockers is for the entire day and you do not need to pay again after opening your locker.

Water Side Rental Lockers are electronic, locked with a unique pin code chosen by the guest, and can be rented via the Kiosk at the Locker Rental Area.

There are two locations: Ride Side in the Infant Care Center building located behind Kid's Kingdom and Water Side adjacent to the Laguna Waterworks.

Each facility is staffed by certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) as part of our Quick Response Service team for those guests needing medical attention.

The Geisinger’s Janet Weis Children’s Hospital Infant Care Center is located behind Kid’s Kingdom and provides diaper-changing facilities and a private area for nursing mothers in air-conditioned comfort. Diapers, baby food, and other supplies are available at a nominal cost.

If you are lost or separated, go to the GACTC Information Booth. No public address announcements will be made.

The Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center Information Booth is located at the foot of the crosswalk Ride Side.

This building also houses Lockers, Lost & Found, and Lost Persons.

We encourage all water park guests to keep their valuables in a rented locker. DelGrosso's Park is not responsible for items lost/stolen/etc.

Cell Phones are not permitted on any water attraction (whether they are in a waterproof pouch w/ a lanyard or not).

We do recommend that cell phones be in a waterproof case while visiting the water park, as it is a wet environment.

The Sundowner Pass is available after 4 pm, Monday-Friday in June, July & August (Excludes Holidays). The Sundowner Pass includes admission to the Amusement Park Rides and admission into the Water Park for that operating season (see the schedule for individual Water Park and Ride Park operating hours). DelGrosso's Park does offer a Military Discount on All-Day Fun Passes. This is valid for the Military Service Member and one family member (Service Member and Guest must be present at the time of purchase). RIDE SIDE: Open-air picnic tables are located in our Picnic Grove, outside of the pavilions, for guests to enjoy free of charge - during our normal operating season. Picnicking/coolers not permitted during Harvestfest weekend.

Coolers and food/drinks are not permitted outside of the Park Picnic Area.

Pets and/or Comfort Animals are Not Permitted on Park Property. Only Service Animals, on a leash or harness, are permitted on Park Property. Service Animals are welcome on select attractions and to the water’s edge in the Water Park. Please see the Security / Rides Office for details.

Under the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. Emotional Support, Therapy, and Comfort animals are terms that are used to describe animals that provide comfort just by being with a person. Because they have not been trained to perform a specific job or task, they do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.

Our stage area has a “lawn chair” seating, so you will want to bring a chair for the concert. Park grounds open at 8 a.m. Rides open at 12 Noon. Alcohol is Not Permitted. Coolers/outside food or drinks are Not Permitted in the concert area. Video recorders are Not Permitted at the stage concerts.

Please be courteous to fellow guests and bring a chair that is standard in size and style (without top shade structure or lounger etc.), as to not inhibit fellow guests viewing and/or our seating pattern.

Park Staff will be present and may adjust the seating patterns/distancing as needed, etc.

DelGrosso's Park is not responsible for items left unattended.

Kid's Kingdom is for our smaller guests!

All riders must be Under 52" to ride in Kid's Kingdom.

To safely ride the Kid’s Kingdom Rides, the rider must be able to maintain upward postural control during the duration of the ride. It is best to view the rides in action beforehand and determine if your child can ride, as some rides have a more dynamic motion.

We have Individual Ride Tickets that could be purchased if the child meets the requirements for the rides. Some parents will purchase these first to see how the child reacts to the rides before purchasing an All-Day Fun Pass.

Infant Admission Policy: Children under 24 months of age with complimentary Infant Wristband are admitted to the Water Park and can only ride the Carouselle and Train when accompanied by an adult with proper admission.

Please Note: Children under 24 months of age must have a Fun Pass wristband or Individual Ride Tickets to board any Park Rides other than the Carouselle and Train, at the Parent/Guardian's discretion. The child must meet ride height requirements and must be able to maintain upward postural control at all times.
